Tea Party

Let’s go back to the good old days,
where I, the queen
of your hearts,
can say when, and you’ll stop
pouring cream into my coffee,
stop putting sugar in
my tea,
stop honeying the bottom
of my dainty
porcelain cups.
Tea is meant to be bitter
let me rejoice
in the tighter aspects
of life.
When.

The End
