Dancing in the Night

When I walk outside I see the stars scattered upon the black canvas of the sky.
I begin to dance to the tune they sing.
I feel your hand in mine
Fingers intertwined
Your hand on my waist
Pulling me closer to your ever present spirit
I remembered when we danced in the night
With the night
With the moon as our light and the stars as our musicians
I will never forget how I lost you to the sun
How she took you away from my arms
My touch
But she cannot take my love for you away from me
On this night as I dance to the moon's light and the star's song silver tears begin falling
Falling to the earth, mixing with the already present dew
Then the rain begins to fal and it too mixes with the dew
I look to the sky and know that he is there with me

The End
