Summation of Summer

This is a little rhyme I wrote to try my hand at ABC poems. My alphabet run is V-Z with a free letter of T. It has a rhyme scheme of AB CC AB.
It accompanies a coloured pencil drawing which is one of a series of four. Each of her three sisters shall have a companion verse as well. As you may have guessed, the theme is the four seasons. Look out for Spring, Autumn, and Winter!

Verdant is the house of Summer

Wherein the dryads dance and play

Xyloid limbs more limber seeming

Yearning skywards towards each dreaming

Zephyr-driven thunder-drummer

The nimbi who pause, then weep, then pass away

The End
