A heart's tears never lie

Deep within love's firey breast

my heart smoulders, never to rest

because your eyes of hazel green

have caught mine eyes and my heart

now what my love

could resist your charm

not man, nor woman, nor beast or bird

for deep within your soul you fly

you harpy, you vixen, I love and sigh

for what hope do i

your humble servant have

when many a suitor has come to pass

and yet each one you push away

so hope still flares inside my breast

that one day, on summer's eve

you and I my love, will make a nest

and depp within our new found home

make love to kindle, stoke up the flame

that smoulders never to rest

deep below my left breast.

The End
