Stumble
Laughing quickly
With nervous unease
Twisting in
Anxiety so
Naturally
Naturally I fall.
Understanding
Life’s a game is
Half the battle
All the same and
Naturally
Naturally I fall.
With shadows on
The move again
The horizon takes
Another bend toward
Potholes ‘round
The corner, then
Just a
Matter of when
Naturally
I’ll fall.
Though some things
I can never change
I put forth the effort
To arrange that
Naturally
Next time
I’ll stand up again.
