Stuck
Trapped in a state of mind Stuck years behind Tried to speed up time To make herself forget Another person she became Never truly letting go Watching her life grow Right before her very eyes Babies climbing too fast Through milestones Growing bigger still Though She still stays Trapped in a state of mind Stuck years behind Tried to speed up time To make herself forget Now that clock has chimed Hands stuck frozen in their place No more running from the night That sealed her frozen fate.
