A collection of poems.
They don’t notice the scars on my wrists,
They don’t notice the tears in my eyes,
They don’t notice the pain in my heart,
Or the way I think of taking my life.
Sure, they don’t know,
So what are they to do?
But that’s what hurts the most,
They could know if they wanted to.
All it takes is one look
To know that I’m gone
In search of a place
Where I might belong.
Of course we all know
That my search is in vain,
A girl like me belongs no where
Except in pain.
