I've been black and blue before

I can't even explain

Its hard for me to let you in

When I've been hurt so much

Now I'm trying to hold on to hope

I'm trying to keep myself grounded

And try again

Against my better judgement

I'm throwing caution to the wind

I'm hiding tears with the rain

And starting fresh again.
