Out of the Darklands

Push on through to the other side,

Darlin' you ain't got nothin' to hide,

Don't just sit in the dark tonight,

Reach on out and touch the light.

Sometimes fear can make you weak,

We all fall down and fail to speak,

The days ahead look so damn bleak,

Treadin' on dreams week after week.

But in that fear you can find the sky,

No matter how far, how impossibly high,

Even if the end of the world is nigh,

That patch of blue is god's great eye.

So light a candle and touch the flame,

Let it burn but feel no pain,

Learn to love and live again,

And then you'll see how the world plays pretend.

The End
