Abusive Love

Love me tender,

Love me sweet,

Not in the house but

In the street.

Beat me senseless,

Black and blue,

Laugh at the tears that

I cry over you.

Tell me to lie,

Laugh in my face,

Hurt me when I cry,

Put me in my place.

I've packed my bags so many times,

And left you on your own,

Over each purple bruise on my tender skin,

For every time you wont to leave me alone.

And still no matter how far I go,

I always end up back in your bed,

I say love is a strange thing,

They say it's too many blows to the head.

The End
