Step Right Up

I’ve spent my whole life searching,
For something to give me a meaning,
But I cant seem to find that place,
Where I block out this screaming.

I come to you with open palms,
And strike you in the head,
Because each time you twist the knife,
I wish that I was dead.

So step right up,
Step right down,
Give me a reason to turn around,
Step right up,
Step right down,
Give me a reason not to frown.
Step right here,
To this pedestal,
That you put me on,
And watch as I fall to the ground,
To prove that you were wrong.
Step right up.

Fortune favours,
Those who cheat,
As you swindle my life away,
How can I compete?

I have this feeling,
That it will end soon,
Look to the stars
But block out the moon.

I am complete now,
I will repent,
Because my life,
Is nowhere near spent.

So step right up,
Step right down,
Give me a reason to turn around,
Step right up,
Step right down,
Give me a reason not to frown.
Step right here,
To this pedestal,
That you put me on,
And watch as I fall to the ground,
To prove that you were wrong.

Step right up....
