Imperfect Perfection

Neat and tidy,
Prim and proper,
Idyllic, beautiful
Robot daughter,
Rosy cheeks,
Beady eyes,
All a careful
Fake disguise,
Living to please and wanting to live,
To have fun like the other kids,
Wishing life away,
Weighed down by the academic world,
Daddy's perfect little girl,
Possibly broken,
Held together by book glue,
Wistful longing,
To do like they do,
Looking out the window,
At the wonderful world,
Mommy's perfect little girl,
Looks at her blotchy red, pale complexion,
I guess there’s an imperfect side of perfection.

The End
