Waiting At The Corner

I'm waiting at the corner,

I've been here a thousand years,

Seen my share of hope, despair,

Of laughter and of tears.

I've seen the girls in high heeled shoes,

The men of many faces,

I've seen the ones that had to choose

Between too many places.

I've seen the faces of those in love,

The misery of every mourner,

But until you decide to come back for me,

I'll be waiting here at the corner.

The End
