Escape the Dream

Fickle fantasies,
Wrapped in desire,
Tired and caged,
Creating a fire.

Chased away by the rising sun,
Replaced with your only destined one.

Blood in the water,
Death on the air,
Shiver inside and
Pretend that you care.

Close your eyes and imagine this scene,
Safe in the arms of the faerie queen,
Whispered caress of these tendrils of mist,
As you're taken away by the butterfly kiss.

The End
