Standing In The Moonlight's Glow

I'm standing in the moonlight's glow
Hoping all of my anger will go
Red eyes and blood stained clothes
Nobody else can know

The rain pours over me
Dark skies as far as the eye can see
There's no one else to be
Finally, except for me

I heard the sirens in the distance
As I was driving away
The sirens were getting distant
And I could still hear you say

"Baby, I love you
And I'll always stay
Baby, you're mine
Every day"

My feet sink into the sand
I wash the blood off of my hands
Tears leak out of my eyes
As I think about all of your lies

I'm standing in the moonlight's glow
Feeling all of my anger go
I have red eyes and blood stained clothes
Now nobody else will know

The End
