Poet#23 "Untitled"

Were I a lesser man
I might be worried
I might curl into a ball
and cry.

Were I a lesser man
I would give up
I would turn around
and leave.

Were I a lesser man, I would moan and sulk and whine.

But I am not a lesser man
I am not worried
I am standing tall
and proud.

I am not a lesser man
I will not give up
I will face the day
and smile.

I am not a lesser man, and things will be just fine.
