Part 4

You can see it set in their faces,
The traces of guilt as they rest
and nest in a cradle of safety,

As they think of their brothers’
sisters, mothers, fathers and lovers.
But they are abroad, and so are the wars.

The families that have been built
for generations wilt now as a dying lily—
STOP the silly thought. The survivors guilt.
