The Calm That Killed The Storm.

In the midst of all the chaos, it stops. I feel a sudden great calm. I feel the waves settling. The rain stops and there are no more drops. The wind becomes a breeze.

There's nothing happening there is no sound, no motion nor a hint of mind. It is like everything was swept away in the brutality of the storm and the calm killed it. It is like breathing in glass. Walking in the air. Having both eyes wide open looking at a distant shore.

There are no waves, the shrouding clouds clear away as you can see a ray of light. A shining hope.

A sense of newly found serenity surrounds the air. It is now that you can be safe, it is now that you have come to realize, this is the calm that killed the storm.

The End
