Big Dreams

A little girl sees bad that needs to go,
But wonders how she, so small, can make change,
She sees a new world that is seeped in woe,
What can she do in this world that's so strange?
She wants to do something big, she won't wait,
She's small but her heart and ideas are big,
She wants to eliminate waste and hate,
Her promise to help she will not renege.
She holds high the values of love and care,
But doesn't have the training or the skill,
To make the world a better place to share,
But what she lacks, she makes up for in will.
Take her and train her, teach her, for you see,
That little girl with the big dreams is me.
