Songs of the Night

As the sky darkens and stars emerge,
A melody arises and is blown around in the wind.
Pairs of chipmunks, birds and more all join hands together on the dance floor.
The clouds float around, swaying to the beat,
The owls coo along to their favourite tune.
In the stream, a frog and a toad leap from lilypad to lilypad practicing their bunny hop.
A grumpy squirrel turns over on his leafy bed, pulling his dandelion pillow over his head and wishing for sleep.
"But the party of the forest isn't over yet," the moon says, the songs of the night ringing until morning.

The End
