Somewhat Suicidal

An ode to life struggles, finding strength at the most vulnerable times and acceptance.

Cast your dreams across the iron ocean
and they’ll remain to the day you pass on
I never wanted to hope because I am bitter
but you’re somewhat upset and that’s all that matters now

So never forget that even in the greyest of days
there can still be a chance of happiness
It’s alright let go and become slightly cynical
it’s more than you could ever express
We’re somewhat suicidal at some point in our lives
but it doesn’t mean anything at all

Winter flames will flicker in cold embers
and the summer rain may never cease
Just accept that resolve is the only way forward
when all that remains is nothingness

The End
