Sometimes a Stranger

Sometimes a stranger is all it takes . . .

Sometimes a stranger

Is all it takes

To set your day abright

A nod, a smile

At any time

Makes everything all right

Familiar yet not

In a startling way

Yet you haven’t got a clue

Not met before

Never meet again

But life’s no longer blue

So next time, dear trav’l er

When little and down

Be careful to heed every sight

For sometimes a stranger

Is all it takes

To set your day abright

The End
