You have to take risks sometimes

If you want to slip through the cracks

Sometimes you get lucky and make it through

Sometimes you don’t, and get caught in your tracks

But you have to look back sometimes

And accept your losses to proceed

And realize what you lost along the way

Just wasn’t meant in your destiny

For if what you had is gone today

It wasn’t meant for tomorrow

So accept the fact, and cherish the best

And don’t drown yourself in sorrow

See, in spite of how good things may seem

When it finally comes down to the wire

If you can’t join together as a team

Your love won’t stand the fire

The End
