Someone You Know

Recommend

Love was implied,

In that short little note.

A note I found tied,

To a single blue flower,

Sitting on the front porch to my house.

Probably would have blown away,

Or gotten thrown in the garbage,

Had it sat there for another hour.

But he knew...

He knew I sit outside to read,

On beautiful days.

So he chose a beautiful day.

And all it said,

Was, “Hello there, dear.”

But love was implied,

And he knew,

I know.
