Someday The World Will Be Yours

It's about being lead on by bold (and false) promises of change and everything you can want, and knowing that it's all a lie

I'd have given you the skies

But again I just couldn't find the time

On your face, I can see disappointment rising

I know that I've failed you again

It's been so long since I sense a smile

But one day, in a kinder world than ours

I will make the paradise worth all those suffered hours

Baby take my hand, dream of paradise with me

Because one day, all the world will be ours

I'd have gifted you eternal life

But it's not in my power to allow or deny

It seems it's just beyond my reach this time

I know that I've lost your trust again

It's been too long since I felt warmth

But one day, in a better life than ours

I will make the paradise worth all those suffered hours

Baby take my hand, dream of paradise with me

Because one day, all the world will be ours

A fragile visage, an unstable mirage

Someday baby the world will be yours

A broken promise, a lie demolished

I'm afraid baby, the world can never be yours

The End
