Somedaymature
A burning cigarette.
A flashy dress.
Sequins glitter.
High heels click.
She smiles, her lips are scarlet.
Her smoky eyes draw you in.
A seductive kiss.
A past unrevealed.
Pain buried deep.
Scars that show,
And ones that don't.
Scars on her stomach,
Pain in her mind.
She lures you deeper.
She creates a dream.
Forgotten promises.
Lies within lies.
Dreams are shattered.
The past is revealed
As she gives herself again.
He doesn't care.
She cries again.
She swears.
She leaves.
She cries as she goes.
Hate grows stronger.

He cares.
She tells herself he will.
Someday.
Somewhere.
He'll care.
He'll love.
She cries.

She curses herself.
