I thought I was done crying over you.
I thought I was done gasping for air,
Because you?
You were a beautiful thing against an ugly world.
You were my friend,
And now?
You're a memory,
So many memories.
Memories that I used to smile at,
Embrace like they were the only thing I loved.
But guess what?
Now they only hurt.
I think about each one,
And each goddamn memory tears a hole in my heart,
Extracts another ounce of happiness from me.
You have it bad, yeah;
But are you dying like I am?
Are you sobbing,
Screaming like me?
You used to be the glue that held me together,
But now you're just another fucking solvent.

The End
