Solitude

In the dark; she cried,

Too hurt to face her fears this time,

In the light; she chose to hide,

Too voulnerable to her family and peers,

In the sunlight; she ran,

Too scared to let people see her,

In the rain; she walked,

Too dependent on being alone,

In the abyss; she sighed,

Too empty to do much more,

In the nothingness; she cried again--

And curled up on the dirty floor.

The End
