Solitary WandererMature

This is something a bit different to anything I've written before. I don't know if I like this style of writing much, though. I know its probably wolfcrap awful, but I thought I'd put it out there, regardless! The title is borrowed from a phrase I read in Virginia Woolfs 'Mrs Dalloway' and felt it rather fitting.

“…”

Silence.

thudthudthud

“…”

Silence.

thudthudthud

“…”

Silence.

thudthudthu-

“..Hello?”

-x-

thudthudthudthudthudthud

The hammering of his heart, deep within his swollen chest, beating on the cage of his ribs.
thudthudthudding to some monstrous tune. A tune of fear.

Run.
Run away now.
fasterfasterfaster.

Run, Rabbit, run.

-x-

Glistening. So precious.
Life.
Life was precious
Glittering, Dazzling, tantalizing life

The life he had ruined.
The lives of the others, the lives of his friends, his allies.
His love.

Ruined.

-x-

Sigh.
Hands on head, head in hands.
Head in hands, eyes watering.
eyes watering, tears falling.
Tears falling, smile breaking.
Smile breaking, hope shattered.
Hope shattered.
Hope.

No hope.
Not anymore.

-x-

“Spare some-“

Kick.

“Screw you, Asswipe!”

Sigh.

“Spare some cha-“

Tut.

Disapproving glare.

Sigh.

-x-

Wait.
Wait.

There!

“Spare some change?”

Rattle.
Coins fall.
Three dollars.

One sandwich and water.
Bag of chips and a coke.

…Weed.
…Booze.

No.

Sigh.

-x-

Crawl away.
Like a dog.
Through the mud, and the filth, and the stench.

Crawl on your belly.
On your belly like the worthless shit you are.

No.

Stand, tall and

proud.

-x-

Stalk away, through the crowd.
Through the animals, through the gibbering apes and the snuffling pigs.
Through the beaky crows, and the watchful eyes.

Quick.
Swiftly-
Oh so swiftly.

Duck-Dive-Dodge

-x-

“Hey!”

Quicker
Quicker

“No, you there! Hey! Hey!”

 nononononono

“I SAID, HEY!”

Arm grabbing.
Closing in, closer, closer,
Catching, closer closer.

Caught.

“NO”

-x-

“NO”

Release.
Tension, slipping.
Grip, loose. Loose.

Gone.

-x-

Face, staring.
Eyes searching.
Lips quirking.

Her

Hair falling.
Eyes soft.
Soft as wool.
Soft as mother.

-x-

“…”

Silence.

Waiting.
It never comes.

-x-

Retreating. Crowd  immersing.
engulfing.

she’s gone.
she’s always been gone.

-x-

Shiver.
Crunch of vertebrae
Crackle of skin.

Skin once caressed,
Adored,
Worshiped

Skin now rough,
horrid,
Foul

Skin so ignored, so unnoticed
Skin so sad

-x-

Drifting
Lying on cool floor
Cool, harsh floor
real floor.

sleep.
forgetforgetforgetfor-

Mouth.
Soft, supple, sweet, succulent mouth.
Lips.
So red. Pastelplush pillows.
Tongue.
Pointed, perfect, pliable.
licklicklickli-

Skin.
Smooth, soaking skin.
Sweat.
So much sweat.

pantpantpant

Beautiful.
Canvas.
Clay.
Moldable.
Bendable.

Suckable.

-x-

hothotheat.
cool fingers.
Thrusting, panting, cussing.

Haunted eyes.
Trusting.

Harsh fingers.
Loving.

Ah ah ah’s pouring from the cavernous mouth.
Echoing. Ceaseless echo’s,
even now.

-x-

Throbbing.
Never ending yearning.
Vivacious curves,
Delicious.

So so perfect.
so so beautiful.
so so  his

-x-

Disease.
Monstrous endlessness.
Always taking, never giving.
Vicious, harsh, cruel.

“…”

-x-

forgetforgetforgetforg-

“Frankie”

Would she even care.
Launch into the abyss.
Propelling to earth.
sickening
Crunch

she never noticed me, anyway.

-x-

“Frankie”

No.

-x-

“…”
“…”
“Frankie…”
“No”
“Frankie, please”
“…”
“Frank!”
“NO!”

-x-

Betrayal.
Sobbing, screaming, searching.
Endless pain.
Eternal desire.
Sinful lust.
Unquenchable thirst.

Body to body.
Skin to skin.
Mouth to mouth.
Tongue to tongue.

Eternal.

-x-

He sat in the room, alone.

Empty, sterile room.

But he sees.
He sees her.
Laughing, crying, joking, fucking.
Loving.

Frank sees her.
Frank will always see her.

The End
