This society that we live in is such a weird and backwards thing.

It's left the impression in our minds that boys are always above girls.

That they're always better than girls.

That they're on a different level than girls.

Isn't that crazy?

It starts to get more relevant when you get into teenage years.

Like I am now.

See, if a boy were to use a girl for all she had, he would get praised and honored for it.

But if a girl were to use her freedom and do the same, she would get shamed and degraded for it.

Hear me out.

Don't get me wrong.

I don't think using is cool.

But if the boy and girl do it, they're both in the same pool, so why does only the girl get judged?

Why is the girl the only one that drowns while the boy is chilling in a floatie watching her suffer.

And all the while, the lifeguard  is bringing him drinks asking if there's anything else he needs.

Now as I'm saying this, you're probably playing this off as some sort of game.

But if you keep doing that it's just going to stay the same.

Boys will keep getting praised.

Girls keep getting shamed.

Now if you want this issue to remain the same, then turn the other cheek and stay in your lane.

But if you want to make a change, be the person who steps in.

I'm not telling you to change society as a whole.

Not even one bit.

I'm simply suggesting that you stop bringing the drinks.

The End
