Tale Continued

The queen shall rise

Black-golden ember

Darkness alight

Sadness forever

A poisoned apple

Bright cherry red

Lips as ruby

Heart as dead

Every breath taken

A wasted affair

Seven hungry dwarves

But he was never there

The young prince charming

Saviour of the land

Defender of the weak

Under the queen’s command;

What money does to people

No matter how just and fair

Snow White became the victim

Lifeless, and lying bare

For the darling queen did fall in love

With the Prince who didn’t age

The mirror adorned, prophecy complete

As Snow continued to fade

The End
