Snow
The snow
covered the land.
A white blanket
upon the
Earth.
Like skeletons in the closet
it hid the secrets
of the world.
My secret?
I watched
and often
I wished I could lie
under the snow –
under that blanket of snow –
to simply forget
my life
and freeze.
To never again
wake to see the
spring.
