Starlet (The Body)Mature

Skeleton starlet, flickering in the sickly glow of your

Mascara nebulas, the intergalactic rain of diamonds

Casting moon-bright aquarium shadows across your

Face; Monroe's dream-catcher of Barbie-Barbiturates.

The arching cupid's bow of your lips; stained

Mansfield death-crash crimson, never to be marred

By obscurity, slipping away into pearly, ice-bath heavens

Smear by smear.

Just shining like a ruby, a blood sacrifice to make the

World sparkle, even for an hour, awash in that glorious

Light of adoration...

Forever and ever, amen.

The End
