Mesmerizing,
Tantalizing.
The shimmer pulled you in.
Material or
Spiritual,
A goal or
A need;
You want it all the same.
Maybe it's
just a game,
so, smile,
Make it
A trick of the light; regret
Later when
Everything
Falls right
In step to
The piper's dancing pipe.
