Silhouette of Yesterday (Crown of the Proud)
I just can't be bothered any more
Life is moving so fast, I'm being left behind
Soon it will just be the faithless
Where the wonder recedes to dull understanding
I just can't get excited over change
Life is sending me the acceptance of dread
You have it all and it's here to stay
I'm somewhere with my head in my hands
I'm nowhere in this crowd
Everyone looks straight through me
I threw away the crown of the proud
Though I'll never truly be...
