A gaping mouth close to mine
Bile rising in its throat
The dark jaw dropped and its lips pulled back
A short neck being wrung by a pale hand
The fingers tug on the Adam's Apple
A bang goes off
The bile explodes up like vomit
It splatters against me; I'm hit
I lay on the ground, knowing I'll never be clean
I am dead now, and they never identified the sneering mouth that shot me down.

The End
