She's Unrelenting

This one is a bit different for me, I wrote it in the style of a pop song (e.g. acts like Pixie Lott, The Saturdays, etc) It's really just about someone who doesn't love them all that much, but eventually they except it and move on

I'm trying to rewind our lives and see what went wrong

Maybe I was too much, or were you stringing me along

I'm ready to leave but I always turn back

I think you'll be the end of me

Leading me off the track

She's unrelenting

and will always let me down

She's always pretending

But I'd still love to have her around

Pulled in directions I couldn't fathom

They say love is savage

I think that I found the truth long ago

I'm finding it harder to get a grip of myself

Ever since you told me you loved someone else

It stings but I'm a welcome mat

They say love is healing

But I've found it to be an attack

She's unrelenting

and will always let me down

She's always pretending

But I'd still love to have her around

Pulled in directions I couldn't fathom

They say love is savage

I think that I found the truth long ago

Harder to say goodbye

But she wants to walk away

I think I could be a stronger man

Why did I love her anyway

She's unrelenting

and will always let me down

She's always pretending

But I'd still love to have her around

Pulled in directions I couldn't fathom

They say love is savage

I think that I found the truth long ago

The End
