She's Like the Moon

She's like the moon

Sometimes crescent

hidden to those who seek her soul

Terrified of being known

Shes like the moon

sometimes in half

allowing a glimpse of that flawed-

-yet oh so perfect wandering beauty

If only she knew

Shes like the moon

sometimes gibbous

Big and bold and splendid

A light in that horrid darkness

A beacon

Shes like the moon

Wonderfully whole!

What a glorious thing

That raw exposed harmony

She alone can move the oceans

Shes like the moon

The End
