She Is Heaven

It's a typical ode to a lover, but one kept secret from the world, for one reason or another

I fed on your fears in the void of the night

Love is pandemonium and we’re going to hell

Blinded by our respective lovers, we were faring so well

Our hearts are joined for the night, secretly as one

But when dawn’s first light shines through

Our love dissipates, our love is forever gone

I hear your cry, in illness you scream for me

I know our dreams are not of silver and gold

We share kisses in secret as the world grows cold

There’ll be no joy shared when we melt together

I thought of your flesh in my waking dreams

Pale skin that glows so gracefully under the light

An angel through the smoke, a hidden sight

She was sacred to me, I weep before her grace

The taste of her tears, my world within contained

All of my love and lust, the coldness of pain

I hear your cry, in illness you scream for me

I know our dreams are not of silver and gold

We share kisses in secret as the world grows cold

There’ll be no joy shared when we melt together

Heaven is found within her

Paradise augments her soul

Heaven becomes her

I hear your cry, in illness you scream for me

I know our dreams are not of silver and gold

We share kisses in secret as the world grows cold

There’ll be no joy shared when we melt together

The End
