She Doesn't Know

I need to soothe my insecurities
because of what she has done to me
It’s quite funny yet quite sad
when she doesn’t get the irony

Take a ride down to my house
and I will pretend not to be home
It’s nothing personal it’s just me
I’d prefer to spend some time alone

She doesn’t know
She doesn’t know
and I doubt she ever will
She doesn’t know
She will never know
and I doubt she ever will

Love is just another game to you
that is because you have never been played
When you finally lose your self respect
you’ll be wishing that I had stayed

I was patient and I was fair
maybe that is why you hurt me
In years to come you will find
you have become your own worst enemy

She doesn’t know
She doesn’t know
and I doubt she ever will
She doesn’t know
She will never know
it was just another thrill

The End
