Characters Without A CauseMature

The characters are empty and soulless,

Dead inside,

They drift from page to page like ghosts,

Some fade into the yellowing background,

Others are flicked from chapter to chapter,

Like dead sea-creatures in waves,

Until their death-throes stop,

And they give in and die,

A horrible death,

To match their horrible lives,

We never really helped them,

To come to life,

They were just abandoned onto the blank white wasteland,

To weak to fend for themselves,

Undignified death.

The End
