See Me.

I wish you could see me,

For who I truly am.

For the pain that writhes,

And the joy that bursts,

And the love I feel for you.

I wish you could see me,

See me with your heart.

See the way I light up,

When you're around,

And always have your back.

I wish you could see me,

In my element.

When I'm laughing,

And smiling and crying,

At the very thought of you.

You who are my oxygen,

Who fills my every waking dream.

You who torments my sleeping thoughts,

And cuts me to the core.

I wish you were wrapped in my arms,

Complete and whole with me.

But as for now I'll stay and dream,

Of the kisses which in day dreams might have been.

The End
