Scissored

Recommend

I recall a time ago
when I was still a whole,
but all that changed when you came
and I gave away my soul.

Your lies just hacked away at me,
and tore me piece by piece.
And while the pain and wounds would numb,
the lies would never cease.

You scattered what was left of me
well away from reach;
Now my heart's been tampered with,
torn, and ripped, and breached.

The gap between us grew and grew
and now we're spread apart.
But I'll never find another love,
for no one wants a scissored heart.

Verse47 Old, crappy poetry. Just for fun, so no heavy critique is needed. Feedback is, of course, always appreciated though. :)
