Scars
Sinking down I try to regain my ground
Too late my legs tripped as I stumbled around
Please don't let this be my end
Infinity is a really long time to try and comprehend
My energy now is devoted to the crawl
My mind cannot escape this deranged sprawl
Regaining my footing as I race to the start
Swim through the river before it parts
Time is nothing now, my life has slowed
My Colt 45 is brand new and load
Cold is the touch against my skin
let me go, don't fear for me kin
Seeing myself I burst into tears
Finally realizing all of my fears
Dropping the gun, I shoot for the stars
Now I can heal, heal my scars
