SANCTIONED PLACE

During Brit Lit class after we had read the novel Frankenstein, which isn't actually as bad as people think, we had to read an exert and highlight words, phrases, or sentences and create a poem. This is mine.

Accomplishments of my life toils

Like rain, pattered dismally against the panes.

Delineate the wretch

Of my infinite pains and care I had endeavored,

Different accidents of life are not so changeable.

The feeling of human nature

Of the dream vanished.

Dim and yellow light of the moon

Gazed a grin of

Greatest agitation.

Extreme weakness,

Bitterness,

Disappointment

Were now became a hell to me.

The overthrow complete.

The End
