Sad Winters
Sometimes I wish
And sometimes I hope
That one day you'll be there
But I know that you won't
If I wrote you this poem
Sending with kisses
What my heart wouldn't give
To know I am missed
So when you open your eyes
In the light of morning
The snow will hold something
Much more than longing
Simply look past the snowmen
And the colorful decorations
Forget the cakes and cookies
only remember one thing
I did my best to make the rhyme
But no matter what it says
My heart is no longer mine.
