Rye

I turned on the light, but t'was not a spark,
Fumbling for a new bulb in the dark,
I'm an exhibitionist when I'm all alone.

Pop songs, Shakespeare, classmates, and revered
Minds tell me he should be it,
But Holden had it right before,
So now who will catch me in the rye?
