Running on a fast track

Running on the fast track Knowledge is the only thing she lacks

She doesn't want to go but knows she's too wild to stay

Her parents will regret her sibling's won't even fret

She is on her way with nowhere to stay

Walking down the street he hollers over she hops in the passenger seat

Driving down the freeway she thought this was her day

Little did she know where this road would go?

Sitting all alone, waiting for him to come home.

She cries to herself and wonders, why doesn't anybody love her?

Running on the fast track self esteem is the only thing she lacks

With a baby on the way she knew this was going to be her day

He's one week old and he's the only reason her life continues

Sitting all alone waiting for him to come home she holds him and smiles

Love she hasn't felt in a while

Little did she know where this road would go she looks down and wonders?

Why doesn't his daddy love her?

Running on the fast track money is the only this she lacks, she truly wants to go but is still too young to know.

Sitting all alone wondering when he will be home, with her second on the way she kneels down to pray

Lord, help me through this day

The End
