Rolling In As I Slept
The drunken days seem easier to throw away
I hyperventilate for the prospects to come
I loved her long ago but I broke the ties
Just another reason to die inside
I look inside myself but find nothing of depth
I dream and look at the list of my regrets
And the sun rolled in uneasily as I slept
Just another moment to forget
I'm working for a reason to try
I'm pondering another chance to reassure
But my fears overload my senses
Nothing's easier as we mature
The weary days hit us, here to stay
I feel misery for the days yet to arrive
Sorrow, my friend comes naturally to me
Only cause I want nothing but to be free
I look inside myself but find nothing of depth
I dream and look at my list of regrets
And the sun rolled in uneasily as I slept
Just another moment to forget
