The Shore

You hold something in me
A beacon of firey blue
Upon the shore of an Ocean
Of too many waves and storms

The smell of Summer
Is so very far away
A scent so invigorating
As to consumate my flame

The deep blue you'll see
The brighter I will be
After these many revolutions
And many more dark illusions

If I could just fall asleep
And dream my way to you
Until I can take their place
Allow the stars to keep you company

This atmosphere, so rich and pure
Promising so much with so little
Keep me aglow, to watch the sea
To witness the end of these waves and storms

The End
